Intelligentsia conducts monthly public tours of our Roasting Works at 1850 West Fulton Street in Chicago. (A Los Angeles tour is also in the works, so keep checking in.)
This tour is a fantastic opportunity to witness a live demonstration of the roasting process and learn about what Intelligentsia does from some of the dedicated people who work here. The tour is a little over an hour and usually takes place on the first Saturday of the month. There are two separate tours on each tour date; the first begins at 10:30am; the second at 12:30pm.
Admission is $15 and free for children under 13. During your visit, you will be treated to a tour of our facility and all the freshly brewed coffee you can drink. At the end of the tour, everyone leaves with a free half pound of Intelligentsia Coffee, roasted before your very eyes in our vintage Gothot roaster. That's a retail value of about $9 right there and besides being quite delicious, this will be the freshest coffee you'll ever have a chance to try (unless you roast your own)!

Please note that after reserving space on your tour, you should print your receipt. Your order invoice is necessary for admission and physical tickets will not be sent.
