Chicago is home to some of the best restaurants in the World, and lucky for us we get to work with a lot of them. We mentioned a number of these in our recent post about the James Beard nominations, and were delighted when earlier this month Chef Paul Kahan was announced as the shared winner for Outstanding Chef! Paul Kahan is the executive chef for incredible restaurants like Blackbird, Avec, PQM, Big Star and The Publican. Along with his partners Donnie Madia and Eduard Seitan, their One Off Hospitality group has built a reputation for original spaces with incredible food served with minimal fuss. Kilogram Tea is an American tea company that sources fresh, compelling teas reflecting peaks of season, land, and process. The new brand will continue with the same offerings and buying principles, however the packaging and messaging will present tea in a different light.

The new brand represents a departure from the existing visual landscape of tea packaging. No longer does tea have to be something antiquated or fussy. Instead, Kilogram Tea seeks to integrate beautiful tea into a contemporary lifestyle.

Floriole began as a stand at Chicago’s famed Green City Market, where for nearly five years they sold their rustic, French pastries in a 10-by-10 tent. They dreamed then of having their own brick-and-mortar space, and that dream came true in 2010 when they opened their beautiful cafe and bakery in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.

We are extremely excited to be opening the doors to our first new coffeebar in Chicago in over 5 years.

We've wanted to come to the Logan Square neighborhood for quite some time, and we've finally found a place to call home there. Located next door to the newly rennovated Logan theater, we will be serving coffee and espresso drinks from our new home.
