In April of 2006, Intelligentsia Coffee opened its third Chicago location at 53 and 55 East Randolph, between Michigan and Wabash Avenues. Its nearly 1900-square-feet of space house a full coffee bar and seating for 30. As Monadnock riffs on the South Loop neighborhood's urbane aesthetic and the Broadway store offers up the youthful casualness of Lakeview, the post-industrial décor of this coffeebar is designed to echo the art and structure of nearby Millennium Park.
