We believe that our Decaf El Mago Blend will prove that not all coffee is a guilty pleasure. This blend will satisfy those who are seeking a rewarding coffee experience without the caffeine and are conscientious about the things they choose to indulge in. El Mago is made from coffee that is grown, harvested and roasted organically. The coffee we use in El Mago is selected from Latin America for quality and flavor. Our beans are hand-picked from the trees when the fruit is fully ripe and is then carefully processed to bring out the best flavors inherent in the beans. El Mago is decaffeinated organically using clean, crisp water to lightly steam the beans and remove the caffeine but not the flavor.
We use the same sensibility when we roast El Mago. We believe this coffee is special and therefore apply a medium-light roast to develop the fullest flavor without compromising the quality to an over-roasted product. El Mago is a mild coffee with a balanced acidity and soft but supportive body. The flavor is creamy vanilla with a slightly Clementine quality and a milk chocolate finish.
