This machine is the latest upgrade from Rancilio. Like V.2, this machine produces great espresso and has the steaming power to create microfoam for latte art. Also like the previous version, V.3 has a commercial grade 58 mm portafilter, a 67 oz. water reservoir, and a three way solenoid valve for pressure relief. Among the new features are a fully articulated steam wand, an adjustable pressure valve, and a newly designed steam knob and portafilter handle. This is the 2009 (V.3) version of the Rancilio Silvia and not the 2007 POD adaptable version (V.2).
