The Technivorm is one of the only brewers to pass the SCAA's standards for brewing. A powerful heating element heats water to the optimal 200 degree temperature in seconds. The brewer also has an optimal brew cycle of approximately 7 minutes, which produces a 4-6 minute saturation time for coffee grounds. These brewers are produced in the Netherlands and are only available through a few sources in the United States. The Technivorm brews directly into a thermal carafe, which allows the coffee to maintain temperature without direct heat, preventing that "burned" taste.

The "damaged box" Technivorms are 100% functional but the packaging may have some slight dents or scrapes.

Perfect Brewing Notes: If you would like us to grind your coffee for this brewer, we recommend that you choose grind level #6. It's a bit coarser than #4 (paper cone filter) and will better withstand the high water temperature that this brewer produces. Also note that the manufacturer's markings on the side of the water holding tank do not match the recommended 6 oz. cup size. Please use your own measuring cup to correctly measure the proper grounds to water ratio of 2 level tablespoons ground coffee to 6 oz. of cold, filtered water.
