The Barista Training for the Espresso Enthusiast Class is Intelligentsia’s basic Barista training course open to the public.  In a 3-hour session, Intelligentsia’s Training Team introduces you to the fine craft of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and latte art.   Not only do we emphasize a hands-on encounter for all students but also indulge and develop our palates by tasting many espressos and espresso-based drinks. This class is great for new or prospective retailers (regardless of experience) and for home enthusiasts eager to work with professional equipment.  The Espresso Enthusiast Class convenes at our Fulton Street Roasting Works and includes an optional tour at no extra charge that begins one hour before class start time.  Along with new and exciting espresso knowledge and experience, each attendee will also receive a pound of Black Cat or Decaf Black Cat coffee to enjoy at home.

This class takes place at our Fulton Street Roasting Works in Chicago. There are no scheduled classes yet for Los Angeles.
