Once again the New Year brings with it exceptional organic coffees from the Yungas forest of Bolivia. This season’s Anjilanaka, named for the indigenous Aymara word for "the angels", offers pristine flavors of apricot, Valencia orange, and praline.
This edition of Tres Santos is a custom-built sizzler that combines coffees from eight individual farms located in the Cauca region. Together these lots become something complex and compelling exhibiting sweet flavors of watermelon, hibiscus, and cherry cola.
Our longtime friend, Vickie Dalton Diaz, owns and operates Finca Matalapa, the farm that her great-grandmother started over 100 years ago. This season her harvest is sweet and light with flavors of cherry, cantaloupe and Concord grape.
